Yes, I think the photograph is actually autographed by Luther. He
was the director of the Tvärminne Station at that time. We also had
the opportunity to see the microscopes he used to so magnificently
describe the worms. They were probably quite good at the time, but it
is amazing that he saw so much. I guess he had something that no
modern microscope includes: patience.
