There are currently a number of image galleries, each of which serves a different purpose:
The Taxonomic drawings and images gallery is a collection of the published illustrations in taxonomic and faunistic publications. They were largely extracted from the PDF files that are in the Macrostomorpha Bibliography. Weeding through piles of papers to find a particular figure or drawing can be very time consuming and this image gallery will speed things up greatly.
Each image is tagged with different labels, such as the species name that the authors gave with the illustration (which may in cases not be the correct species name!) and with the publication from which it was taken. Eventually it would be nice to tag the images with additional information, such as keywords of what is depicted on the illustration or synonyms in case the depicted species was misidentified or changed the name in the meantime. It would be great if users would help with this kind of annotation. For the moment this taxonomy contains the taxa that were listed for the Macrostomorpha on the Turbellarian Taxonomic Database on 26.2.2008, irrespective of whether they are synonym, nomen nudum or otherwise uncertain. For details of the status of each taxon visit the Turbellarian Taxonomic Database.
In addition there are Specimens galleries, which contain information on specimens (both type and nontype) of different Macrostomorpha, information on the collection location and other relevant data regarding the different specimens.
Finally, I think that it could be useful to be able create special image galleries, which one could make accessible to referees of a manuscript that uses digital type material. Such galleries could then be equipped with the appropriate access right restrictions.
