Eyes 13 x 25 micrometer. The penis stylet is bow-shaped, gradually tapering in diameter towards the swollen distal end. The walls of the distal end are slightly thickened; the distal opening is displaced slightly to one side of the swollen end and is not exactly terminal. p. 55

The distal part of the stylet is complicated. It is gutter-shaped with narrowing margins (compared M. longistyliferum Ax 1956) and is additionally equipped with a lamella on one side. The end of the stylet is usually blunt but sometimes it appears to be pointed. p. 194
